Is As Seen On TV Products Perfect?

Posted by admin | Christmas | Thursday 9 August 2007 10:04 pm

By Christmasidea.blogspot.com

Ho Ho Ho – Artificial Christmas trees can be reused year after year, saving you money and helping save the environment – some people argue that the land used for growing Christmas trees could be used more productively to produce food. And, as real trees tend to be sold without roots, they end up being thrown out in the new year.

Have you ever wondered about all those “as seen on tv” ads and the claims of those products? Most people I know think that those “as seen on tv” products are all gimmicks. If those products were really legitimate, than why can’t I get them at my neighborhood Wal-Mart or some other store?

If they are as fantastic as the TV ad says, why is it that this “as seen on tv” product is only available by calling in an order or going to the products website? I had my own “as seen on tv” experience this Christmas. I was given a gift. Some friends had bought the “as seen on tv” flashlights.

Ho Ho Ho – When designing hallways, you could always make a colorful banner that says “Merry Christmas”.

These are the flashlights that never need batteries, can get run over by a car, float in water, are waterproof. In short, they are the miracle you were always waiting for. I must admit, when I saw the TV commercial, I was very skeptical. So when I opened this gift, I really was quite speechless. Was this a joke, or was it for real?

Let me tell you a little about my “as seen on tv” flashlights. They really don’t need batteries. You just shake them and the energy from your motion changes into electrical energy and is stored in a capacitor inside the flashlight. Turn the flashlight on, and you have light until the stored energy is used up. If the light starts dimming, shake again a little. Wow! They really are waterproof.

Ho Ho Ho – Christmas is time to celebrate YOU! Uplift yourself with memories of the joys you discovered and successes you achieved over the year. Spend moments in gratitude for these wonderful memories.

They are totally sealed. There is no battery compartment to open up and the light should last for thousands of hours of use. I must confess though, that I haven’t yet laid the flashlight on the ground and tried to drive over it. However, the housing of my “as seen on tv” flashlight is very sturdy. I think it just might survive.

My “as seen on tv” product is not perfect. The light doesn’t last forever and I don’t like to keep shaking just to be able to see. And yet, I have the perfect place for this light in my car. If I am ever stuck in the dark, I can be assured that I will always have some light easily available.

Ho Ho Ho – Gift an afternoon tea – type up a flyer for all the neighbors in your street to come for a Christmas afternoon tea.

I still don’t understand why “as seen on tv” products are only available with a phone call or an internet site visit. I do know this, my experience showed that the product really was legitimate and did what was claimed in the TV commercial.

Newsletter Writing – How To Write It Well?

Posted by admin | Articles | Thursday 9 August 2007 10:01 pm

By 12BuyOnline.com

Find a Job Testing Video Games- Sales Letter Re-Write – High Conversions Find a Job testing video games.

On the list of top ten things to do to increase ranking, internet traffic, and popularity in general–right between kwr articles and blogging–is the art of newsletter writing and administration.

Newsletters are convenient for your customers, clients, and/or potential repeat visitors; they are one of the best forms of condensed information dispersal and of advertising; and they are fairly easy to generate and automate…so your following has a weekly or monthly update, resource, and reminder (of you, your services, your products).

Since my forte is not newsletter writing, I will not posture with too involved a lesson on newsletter writing, but will pass on tips I have found in my online research and reading ventures, and will offer you some model sources.

Who better to model the best (award-winning) newsletter writing than writers who issue newsletters to fellow writers and readers? If you are not a writer, per se, but do wish to see the most readable, most accessible layouts, check out copies of the following (all of which are fr..ee..):

Tips! Prioritizing is a key to successfully reaching your goals in life. Making writing one of your priorities and advertising that as a priority of yours will open up possibilities to write more.

Absolute Write Newsletter – Produced by the dynamic and perky published author Jenna Glatzer and her team, this newsletter arrives in your email box every Wednesday with such regular features as advice articles, classes offered, affiliates, and resources for writers.

Writing World Newsletter – Produced by the professional Moira Allen, this newsletter appears in your ebox monthly, and offers such items as writing news, a q & a section, feature articles, writer site listings/links, writing contests (with no entry fees), feature articles, and The Author’s Bookshelf.

Writers Weekly Newsletter – Produced by the vigilant protector of writers worldwide Angela Hoy (also owner of BookLocker.com), this newsletter contains weekly features such as advice and features from the editor, letters to the editor, feature articles, calls for interview subjects (posted by writers).

Ask the Expert, paying markets and jobs listings (current), and an absolutely imperative section called Whispers and Warnings, wherein readers (as writers) can stay informed of the scammers and deadbeats who don’t pay, are extremely late in paying, or refuse to acknowledge promise of/payment.

Tips! Decide the type of article you would like to write and then read every article you can find on your subject. You can search your topic on search engines or go to article directories.

The three administrators/writers offering the above newsletters also have archives on their websites which provide tips for all kinds of writing, newsletter writing included. But I will offer a bulleted version of some of the elements a newsletter might include. Formatting and content will be up to you to figure out, of course:

–Include topical material–that which your target audience is interested in and cares about.

Write & Edit MUST-READ newsletters How to write & edit MUST-READ newsletters, by Fred Goss, the newsletter content guru.

–Add relevant links–including a blurb that briefly describes what the linked site entails

–Advice/Q & A sections–again, relevant and helpful

–Products/Services Ads/Reviews

–Trivia/Jokes/Cartoons–although the latter is less common a trend

Tips! Make it a habit to write everyday.

Whichever you decide, whichever approach you wish to use (personal, business, etc.), you may wish to get specific guidelines, learn of the newsletter-writing software, understand which text to use, and read up on RSS and opt-in strategies, etc., or you may choose to hire a writer!

Amazon.com – Never Pay A Full Price

Posted by admin | Articles | Thursday 31 May 2007 1:17 am

By 12BuyOnline.com

Tips! When you buy online, you will also be getting a bigger selection than if you hit your small local music shop for your instruments and gear. You will be able to access any type of guitar, drums, videos, or more that you are looking for.

The popularity of online shopping has really soared in the last few years. The web presence of well-known retailers, improved security in the ordering process, and the sheer convenience of it all has struck a chord with consumers worldwide. At the forefront of the online retailing movement, of course, is Amazon.com.

By now, the Amazon.com story is familiar to most people. The company was founded back in 1995 by Jeff Bezos, a graduate of Princeton University who started out as a financial analyst before pursuing his entrepreneurial aspirations. He recognized the e-commerce potential of the Internet, which had not yet broken into the public consciousness like it has today.

Bezos decided to start out by selling books, and he literally ran Amazon.com from his garage until he received enough capital from investors to expand accordingly. Surprisingly, the website was a hit right off the bat with Internet-savvy consumers.

In its first month of operation, Amazon.com was averaging five-figure sales and could count customers in all fifty states as well as several foreign countries.

But Bezos was not content to stop there. He had big dreams for Amazon.com, and wanted it to become the first website that online consumers go to for whatever their shopping needs. So Bezos continually added other products besides books to the Amazon.com lineup.

These days, shoppers can buy CDs, DVDs, gourmet food, jewelry, computers, furniture, and just about everything else at Amazon.com. Bezos took his company public in 1997, and became a billionaire soon after.

Tips! When you buy online you need to ensure that the web site you are using is conducting business in a secure way. Using “https” protocols, on the other words, a secure server to process all transaction details. If their site is not secure then your personal information, as well as your credit card information might be compromised.

The company, now in its tenth year of operation, has shown no signs of slowing down and remains one of the most popular websites on the Internet. I do quite a bit of shopping online, so I can certainly understand why Amazon.com is so appealing to consumers.

First of all, you really can find almost any kind of product on that site. The selection is just amazing, and I find that it’s much more convenient for me to do my shopping from a single site than to have to track orders from several different ones.

For example, if I want to purchase a sweater, a bag of cat food, a DVD, and a bread machine, I would ordinarily have to order from several different stores. That would mean filling out four different order forms, paying for shipping four separate times, and tracking four different packages to make sure that I actually receive my orders.

That’s not very convenient at all! But with Amazon.com, I can order all four items from the same site and do all of those other things just once. A second reason that I like Amazon.com is that their prices are very competitive compared to other online retailers. The regular prices of all merchandise on the site is discounted to begin with, and they almost always have some kind of special sale or promotion going on.

Tips! Very recently the online shopping has taken pace and most of the companies actually encourage their perspective customers to go online shopping by introducing online discounts on various items. Online shopping helps us to avoid parking hassles, traffic jams and we all know that we now have actually started preferring to buy online.

I’ve never paid full price when buying something from Amazon.com, which is definitely a good thing. A third reason that I like Amazon.com is that they have product reviews from consumers right on the order page. Before I spend my hard-earned money on something, I can read reviews from other regular people to see how the products worked for them.

I have to admit that I’ve changed my mind about several purchases on the strength of the reviews I read on Amazon.com. Overall, I can honestly say that I’ve never had a problem with an Amazon.com order in the five years that I’ve been shopping there. If you’re looking for a comprehensive online retailer for your shopping needs, then I recommend checking them out.

Advertising Agencies For All – Find Out More

Ultimate EBook(R) Business Package. Http://mydiscounteBook(R)s.

If, as the advertisement claims, advertising is the second oldest profession in the world, the writer claims that like the first, the practitioners are known for their performance! Which is why all business nowadays, whether they are small or big, use advertising agencies to promote and sell their products.

Cash Setup – Turn Key Business Operation. Make Money Income Generator Guaranteed Cash Business Adwords.

And while most of us may not know about advertising agencies themselves unless we happen to work in the field, all of us are hooked on to their work in newspapers, magazines, the television and even the web.

Start A Consulting Business Today! Learn How To Start A Profitable Consulting Business Today.

I’ve had the good fortune of working in several ad agencies. I first joined an advertising agency as a copywriter – or a person who actually writes the advertisements you see and read. While my first advertising agency was a relatively unknown, small firm, I slow moved on to bigger and better agencies.

Start A Cleaning Business: Suze & Ev.

I remained a copywriter for a while, before I got into other professions. But my days with the advertising agencies that shape the public conscience continue to hold pride of place in my heart!

But what is it that advertising agencies really do? For one thing, they help the client spread the word about his product or service. Right from the breakfast cereal you eat in the morning to the dish washing liquid you use, to the clothes you buy and even the car you drive are all products of advertising.

It is the advertising that made you pick a Mazda say over a Toyota. Or a GAP T-shirt over any other brand. Or even fill your gas at a Shell Gas station over a Chevron gas station. Advertising is not only a way for the companies behind the products to sell you stuff, it is also a service that helps you choose what is best for you, or what defines your lifestyle.

Tips! Must keep the business on track Small business plans make sure that all employees are pulling in the same direction, in keeping with the human, technological, physical, time and financial resources that the small business has at its disposal.

And as a business, it is a multi billion dollar business! With buyers, sellers and other players in all countries all over the globe. Nearly all the big players among advertising agencies are a part of a global conglomeration of advertising agencies.

If you check out the association of accredited advertising agencies of America online, you will find that the names behind household brands are all advertising agencies that belong to the big five. The WPP Group is probably the most well known advertising agency.

It would not be right to call it a single advertising agencies, for like other businesses, there are umber of little advertising agencies that come together under the umbrella brand of a bigger advertising agency.

Mini Encyclopedia Of Low-Cost, High-Profit Internet Business Models NINETEEN (19) Different, Killer Internet Business Models that you can study and emulate – saving you time, money and effort by eliminating guesswork entirely. Comes with Master Resell Rights.

But several big businesses, due to the volume of money they spend of advertising services, have their own advertising agencies. The Unilever group is probably the best example. As a multi national corporation with a presence in most countries of the world, the Unilever group spends billions annually on advertising. Which is why they have a number of advertising agencies that they own and operate by themselves.

But these advertising agencies are not at all different from the scores of other independent ones. For in the end, an advertising agency does the same job of communicating to you and me about the benefits of using one particular product or service over another!

Finding Anti Aging Supplements That Works For You

Posted by admin | Articles | Sunday 6 May 2007 8:58 am

By 12BuyOnline.com

Tips For You! Avoid UV radiation as it is the major cause of premature skin aging and wrinkles. Ensure you always have adequate sun protection for the climate and your skin type.

The key to this game is finding anti aging supplements that work well for you. My wife swears by Este Lauder Fruition and Lancome eye cream. While these anti aging supplements work well for her skin, they may not work at all for others.

You basically need to understand your skin type and what it requires to look healthy and vibrant. An ideal place to browse for anti aging supplements is your local department stores. These places are infused with cosmetic products. A second place to find anti aging supplements is online. It’s simple when you shop from home.

What is the deal with youth these days? Is it no longer accepted to grow old gracefully? Well, if you’re hip to the latest media and trends, then you know that answer is a resounding “NO.” People across the world are no longer interested in growing older.

Tips For You! Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize Think of all the hot showers and baths you have taken; sure, they clean your skin, but they also dry it out. Our skin gets drier as part of the aging process, too.

Okay, I should specify more clearly. No one actually wants to look older. This new trend especially applies to women. Could this have anything to do with the way females are scrutinized when it comes to image?

Well, regardless of how the “staying young forever” trend began, one thing is for certain; it sparked a whole market of anti aging supplements. If you don’t already have a few, then you probably will at some point or another. They’re a little hard to avoid these days.

Awaken Your Body to Healthy Aging What Good is Living Longer If You Cant Enjoy It. Learn the Secrets to Personal Longevity.

How many anti aging supplements are sitting in your medicine cabinet? Which ones work the best for you? It’s funny when I take a look at my wife, I see such a young and beautiful woman. However, she has certainly been concerned with anti aging supplements lately.

I take one glance at her vanity and think, wow. What does this woman do with all of those wrinkle-reducing creams and eye gels? It actually looks like she’s starting a collection. The funny part is that she doesn’t even have any fine lines or wrinkles yet. That’s not bad for a lady with a 19 year old daughter. Most people actually think she’s in her twenties. One thing is for sure; she has conformed to the new-age concept of avoiding the issues of time.

She wants to look as young as she possibly can. Well, who am I to complain. Just the other day we were strolling through the local drug store when she spotted some new anti-wrinkle serum. For some bizarre reason she had to buy it. There’s another item to add to the collection of anti aging supplements.
